“Seeking Positives”
Once you found positives, you are then able to dispense with annoyances.
In Spring there was a drought, and since the beginning of summer however continuous overcast days were troubling [us]. It never cleared up. The fields were completely overgrown with weeds, [therefore] it was difficult to shovel (to hoe the weeds). The landlord had to expend great costs for labour and to hire more manual workers.
I was shovelling the ground with several others, when a passer-by said to us: “This ground really grieves people to death, aye !”
One of the fellow workers responded by saying: “You should not say that .These are sons here, who are not sparing any effort to nourish the elderly, aye !”
(They are sons nourishing the elderly, the livelihood is free of worries. When there are lots of weeds, the salary is high, and livelihood is worry-free, too. This is seemingly a son nourishing his elderly.)
Everyone listened, and they all had a laugh.
Listening to these words was very meaningful to me. Only then did I know that every ordinary matter has its positives.
When it cannot be found on the front side, seek from the flipside. If you are able to find the positives on the backside, only then are you able to dispense with vexations.
