Bodhisattvas should practice generosity without attachment. (No attachment: the mind does not stay in the perception) (Practicing generosity: if there is no self-image, generosity can be free of stinginess; if there is no human-image, generosity can be free of what is given; if there is no sentient beings-image, generosity can be free of the object to be given; if there is no  longevity-image, generosity can be free of the generosity itself.) (a generosity  without an attachment, is based on the compassion, joy and protection of the the Darma from the heart.while unattached to the self)

All perceptions form this world, and if your mind does not stay in these perceptions, you will not be bound by the world you are in.

To cut off the idea of "cutting off all ideas" , to turn a blind eye to "turning a blind eye", to know nothing about "knowing nothing", to be no difference between "differentiation " and "in-differentiation”, this is Bodhi, and this is also an "image".

"Do not distinguish between which is Dharma and which is not Dharma, and staying away from distinction is called studying Dharma."

"If there are still things that should not be done, it cannot be said that all the worries have been freed. If all the things that should not be done are gone, then all the worries have been freed."

-Manjushri Bodhisattva

In the early years of Shunzhi in the Qing Dynasty, Wu Mao, a servant of Wuliufang in Qingyang County, Anhui Province, usually practiced virtue and practiced precepts and continued to recite Buddha. When Zuo Liangyu led his troops across the Yangtze River, Wu Liufang and his family went out for refuge, but Wu Mao was the only one to guard the house for the owner, but was stabbed to death by seven shots by the bandits. His brother came to see him, and he woke up again and said, "Due to my previous sins and karma, I should have turned to pigs seven times. Because of my merits in studying Buddhism and precepts in this life, I was stabbed seven times to offset the grievances of the past. From then on, I went straight to the the Western Paradise." Later his master saw Wu Mao in a daze, with flags on the front and back. Wu Mao bowed and told his master, "I am Wu Mao, and I passed by here by chance because I will go to the Western Paradise." Later, the master painted his portrait and respectfully worshiped him. Instead of being a pig for seven lifetimes by being stabbed with seven spears, this is the so-called heavy punishment turned into a light one. This concludes the karma of the previous life. To go to the Pure Land due to chanting of Buddha is really the so-called transformation from a mortal to a saint. The cultivation of the cause in this life, will prove the effect in the future. -Excerpted from "An Shi Book" "Wenchang Emperor Silently Doing Good Virtue" : The master painted servant's portrait

I have a Swatch watch that was produced about 10 years ago. This watch is very accurate. But after 10 years of use, its battery cover has worn out. I searched the Internet for the battery cover of the same model, but could not find it. I wrote an email to swatch with the attitude of giving it a try, asking them for help, to see if they could help me find such a battery cover. Swatch quickly emailed me back, asking if I could send them a photo of the watch. After receiving the photos I sent, swatch mailed me 3 battery covers of the same model for free. I am really touched, after all, this watch has long been discontinued, and they were able to find it and mail it to me for free. Swatch is really a very responsible company, and their spirit of serving customers to the end is commendable.

When Emperor Wenchang was working as the god of Mountain Dongting and Lake Dongting, one day in the clouds, he saw a woman praying to the mountains and rivers, saying that her husband had been convicted and died in exile because of the faithfulness, her in-laws had no other children, she was pregnant and expecting to give birth. She hopes that God will let her give birth to a boy to inherit the lineage.  Emperor Wenchang sympathized with the woman when he heard these words, and shed tears with sympathy.  Suddenly the body fell into the arms of this woman, and when he woke up he was reborn as the son of that woman.  When she was not a mother, the emperor was worshipped by her; after she was a mother, she was worshipped by the emperor.  But who should and should not worship?  From the perspective of Confucianism, there is a relationship between human relationships; from the perspective of Buddhism, human relationships are harmonious in reincarnation.  The Confucian relationship is viewed from only this one life, and the Buddhist relationship is viewed from the cause and effect of three lives.  In Buddhism, "the Dharma view anything is equal, and there is no superiority or inferiority." Therefore, the Bodhisattva treats all sentient beings as parents. Therefore, the Bodhisattva always puts himself in a low position.  Therefore, although Buddhism attaches great importance to filial piety and human relations, from the perspective of rebirth, the relationship between each person and the people around him is mellow, constantly changing positions, and constantly circulating.  Therefore, all sentient beings have been my parents, and every inch of the land has witnessed the cycle of life and death.  -"An Shi Quan Shu"

Belief in Buddhism should be pure and clean

The supreme bodhi has no fixed method to realize enlightenment, and all behavioral methods are not the supreme enlightenment, and the supreme enlightenment mind is the mindless mind.

The Buddha asked Manjushri Bodhisattva: When practicing Prajna Paramita, how should we maintain Prajna Paramita?

Manjushri Bodhisattva said: To be not attached to the Dharma is to maintain Prajna Paramita.

The Buddha asked Manjushri Bodhisattva again: Why not attach to the Dharma is to maintain Prajna Paramita?

Manjushri Bodhisattva said: Because it is not attached to the form, it is Prajna Paramita.

-"The Great Prajna Paramita Sutra Telled by Manjushri Bodhisattva"  Translated by Mandra of Funan, Liang Dynasty (Funan is an ancient Indianized country in the Indochina Peninsula. It is located in the Southeast Asian continent. Its ruling center is located in the Mekong Delta area. It has existed between the 1st and 6th centuries.)

During the Ming Dynasty, there was a family named Xu in Chun'an County, Zhejiang. The brothers in this family divide the property. The boss gets a horse, the second gets a cow. The third family only had a widow, and she only got one servant this time, named Aji.

Aji is over fifty years old. The widow cried and said, "Horse can be used for riding, cattle can be used for plowing the land, and the old servant can only waste my food."

Aji said, "Mistress, don't you think I'm better than a horse?" So he planned a way to make money for the master.

The widow sold her hairpins, earrings and other jewelry into twelve taels of silver, and gave them to Aji to take them to the mountains to buy and sell paint. In just one year, profits have tripled. After another twenty years, the widow’s fortune has reached tens of thousands.

Aji managed the marriage of the three daughters of the hostess. He also hired famous teachers to teach the two sons of the hostess. Later, they both married well-known daughters, and their betrothal gifts amounted to a thousand taels of silver. Later, the two sons entered the Royal Academy in accordance with the usual practice.

When Aji saw the Xu clan members, even if they were young, he would bow down to them. He has never squinted at the mistress in his life. Although the maids were young, Aji never stood with them. When he was dying, Aji took out all the large and small accounts and gave them to the mistress, saying: "Your two sons can protect this family business for generations. I, an old servant serving the master like a cow or horse, have finally done my best."

There is no inch of silk cloth or extra food in the place where Aji lives. For his wife and a son, clothes can only cover their bodies. Aji keeps his duty in this way and plans a livelihood for his master, even a great sage may not be able to surpass Aji. And it is amazing to have such a respectable figure among the folks in the countryside! -Excerpted from "An Shi Book" "Wenchang Emperor Silently Doing Good Virtue" : Being entirely worn out in performing one's duties

Emperor Wenchang once said that he himself had reincarnation seventeen times, and he was an official in every life experience.  From the year of Zhou Wu Wang Yisi to the Jin Dynasty, he was reincarnated in the world.  The 17 life experiences mentioned by the emperor is a good education for people who do not believe in the past and present:

In the past, it was just because I didn't know that I would have my next life, so I spent my days leisurely and found that there was not much time left.  Now I know that even though the body is dead, the true nature will not die, so I understand that life is always long.  Therefore, short-lived can be changed to long-lived.

In the past, it was only because I didn't know there was a previous life, so when I saw the emperor and the emperor, I felt that I was too insignificant.  Now I know that there are six life realms that are constantly reincarnating, and each other is superior to each other. I must have experienced such a noble road in my previous life.  Therefore, I can despise the difference between the poor and the rich.

In the past, it was only because I didn't know that there was an antecedent, so whenever I was frustrated, I often blamed others.  Now I know that the rich and the poor, the gains and losses, the gains and losses, are all drawn by karma.  So when you are in adversity, you can endure it with peace of mind.  Therefore, anger can be eliminated and transformed into peace.

In the past , I didn't know the cause of misfortune and blessing, so I let myself go and do everything.  Now knowing that doing good is to shelter oneself, and to harm others is to harm oneself.  Then, in places where others can't see, I also tremble, and I always guard myself not to start evil thoughts.  Therefore, it can turn corruption into good.

In the past, only because I did not believe in cause and effect, I saw that the good people get misfortune and the wicked get blessings, and I think that the way of heaven is unfair.  Now that I can observe the past and the future, I know that good fortune comes from doing good, and evil comes from doing evil.  Karma is without error.  Therefore, it can turn foolishness into wisdom.

There is a Brahminist believer in Shravasti. Although he is rich, he is stingy and greedy. Whenever he eats, he closes his door tightly.

One day, this man killed chickens for food, and the couple ate together, with their children sitting in the middle. They put chicken meat into the children's mouth many times.

When the Buddha knew that this person (referring to a person who believed in Brahmanism) was about to be converted, he became a saman a monk and appeared in front of the Brahman.  When the Brahmin saw it, he furiously said, "You shameless monk, why did you come to me?" Monk said, "You are foolish, killing your father, marrying your mother, and supporting your enemies. Why do you still say that the monk is shameless?"  When the Brahman heard this, he was very confused and asked the reason. Monk said: "The chicken on the table is your father in the previous life. Because of his stinginess and greed, he often fell into the chicken life. This child, before, is a Rakshasa. In the past lives, you were often killed by him. Because the past karma is not exhausted, so now he is reincarnated in order to kill you again in the future. Your wife is the mother of your past life because of profound love , she come to be your wife in this life. This kind of reincarnation is unknown to the laymen, and only monks can clearly see it." Then the Buddha showed his mighty power, allowing him to see his past lives.  After seeing it, the Brahman was taken aback, and immediately woke up and expressed his willingness to repent and take the precepts.  The Buddha then spoke for him and accepted him into Buddhism.  He later obtained Sudhahuan fruit.

Mr Zhou said: Duti's father was reborn as a dog in his son's house and stole the food from the plate.  Zhantan's father was reborn as a beggar at the door of his son's house, but his arm was broken by the gatekeeper.  The most horrifying thing in the world is the most common thing in the world!  Therefore, do not kill any living things!
