Don't care about the past, don't want the future, be tired of the present. Leave the desire.
Our body is endowed with all kinds of feelings and perceptions, and it has the wisdom to judge right and wrong, but if we do not pursue the right path, we are wasting both our body and our wisdom. Even animals know how to enjoy desires and pleasures. If we are like them, we only know pleasure but don’t know how to cultivate goodness, then even if we get a human body, what is the difference from animals? Sentient beings who have fallen into the realm of hungry ghosts, hells, and animals have no chance to learn the Buddhadharma. Since we have obtained a human body and become a human being, we should encourage ourselves to cultivate virtue and learn the Buddhadharma.
If we cannot correctly recognize the impermanence of things, if we cannot get rid of our desire for things, and if our mind cannot be liberated, we will not be able to transcend the horrors and sufferings of birth, old age, sickness, and death.
It should be seen that the form of things is not constant, and seeing things in this way is the correct concept. With this concept, you will be bored and free from greed, and you will be liberated when you are free from greed.
"The earth, the sun and the moon will all be destroyed at a certain time in the future, and there will be nothing that will not be swallowed up by impermanence." - "The Sutra of Impermanence" teaches that everything is impermanent, and there is no need for attachment.
Duke Mu of Qin once went out of the palace and lost his steed. He went out to look for it himself, and saw a group of people who had killed his horse and were eating horse meat together. Duke Mu said to them, "This is my horse." These people stood up in fear and panic. Duke Mu of Qin said: "I heard that eating horse meat without drinking alcohol will hurt the body." So Duke Mu of Qin gave them wine to drink. Those who killed the horse drank the wine Duke Mu rewarded, and then left in shame. After three years, the state of Jin attacked Duke Mu of Qin, and Jin soldiers besieged Duke Mu of Qin. Those who used to kill horses and eat meat said to each other: "We can use our strength to fight to the death for the king to repay Duke Mu's kindness for giving us horse meat to eat and good wine to drink." So these people helped Duke Mu of Qin break the siege, and Duke Mu finally survived the disaster, and defeated the state of Jin captured Duke Hui of Jin. - "Records of the Grand Historian. Qin Benji Fifth"
To break off all distinctions in thinking is called right thinking. - "The Treatise on the Great Perfection of Wisdom"
In the Desire Realm, the door of goodness is often closed due to the sinful karma of stinginess and greed. When Tanparamita (giving) is performed, these two things can be eliminated and the door of goodness can be opened.
No craving arises where craving may arise. No anger arises where anger may arise. No arrogance arises where arrogance may arise. No ignorance arises where ignoranc may arise. Don't deceive yourself. Know the truth. No mind moving. Wherever the mind may be knotted, the mind will no longer be knotted. Like the emptiness, fireworks cannot smear it, and heavy rain cannot wet it. If you look at the emptiness in this way, all kinds of troubles will no longer be in your mind.
