My common surname is Li. I converted to Buddhism in March 1989, worshiped Master Haikong as my teacher, and took the Dharma name Jikong. After I entered Buddhism, I worshiped the Buddha every day and meditated in Zen. Although I didn't know much about Buddhism, I often read Buddhist books and believed in Buddhism without any doubts. On the evening of August 25, 1992, I sat in meditation after paying homage to the Buddha. Under the blessing of all the Buddhas of the ten directions and three times, at about ten o'clock in the evening, I knew my destiny. At that time, I cried a lot and made up my mind to recite the Buddha's name and become a Buddha. On the evening of August 23, 1994, while sitting in the Buddhist hall and reciting the Buddha's name, I learned more about the destiny of my wife and child. My reincarnation of fate was once again confirmed by Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Until today, I dared to write it after the past life memory was confirmed many times.

Six hundred years ago, I was a monk. I became a monk at the age of twenty, received three great precepts, and practiced for more than fifty years (obviously, I am a virtuous and eminent monk with strict precepts and superb morality, but the ending is not as good as that of a precept holder who honestly recites the Buddha's name. If you don’t rely on the power of the Buddha, you will be confused. Karma is hard to break; if you are not born in the Pure Land, life and death will be hard). I did a lot of good deeds during my Buddhist practice, but because I was greedy for the world, I thought about the blessings in the world, and I didn’t seek to be reborn in the Pure Land. In the end, not only did I not get rid of the six realms of reincarnation, but I fell into the three evil realms to suffer and pay off my debts after enjoying all the blessings! I used to be a A monk, after my death, I was reborn into a wealthy family. I grew up to be the son of a rich man and enjoyed a life of debauchery and debauchery every day. I had eight maids by my side. Although I was not lustful at the time, I was very greedy for fame, money, and profit. However, due to the great merits and blessings of practicing as a monk, after my death in this life, I was reborn in a bureaucratic family. When I grew up, I became a leading general, majestic and majestic, I got what I wanted, enjoyed endless glory, wealth, and delicious food, and lived a life of debauchery all day long. At that time, there were twenty-four maids around. Because of eating, drinking, playing, and having fun, all kinds of evil causes are created again. Especially when leading the army, many people were killed, their heads were chopped off and their bodies were thrown in the river. When the opponent's soldiers were hiding in the grass, I would find them and pull them out to kill them, forming a lot of sinful ties. Therefore, after I died as a general, I was reborn in the three evil realms (animals, hungry ghosts, and hells) to receive retribution and repay my debts, which lasted for ten lifetimes! A monk who has practiced for fifty years, in exchange for two worlds of blessings, and then It is a low-level animal of the tenth generation, which is frightening. Everyone should know that the sea of life and death is deep, and the cycle of reincarnation is dangerous. The ambition to be reborn in a pure land should be to swear to death.

In the previous three lives, I was reborn as a toad. Since I beheaded many people in my life as a general and threw the corpses in rivers, I was reborn as a headless toad. suffering, in order to repay the retribution of the previous life. After being a toad three times, I was reborn as a pheasant four times to repay the debt of commanding soldiers to kill the enemies hidden in the grass when I was a general. When I was a rich man and a general, because I was greedy for food, I ate delicious food all day long, so I became a pheasant and was shot, chopped, cooked, and fried to pay off my karmic debt. When the pheasant died four times, the karma was not cleared, and I was reborn as a pig three times. This is when I was a rich man and a general, I ate and sat lazily, opened my mouth when I came to eat, stretched out my hands when I came to clothes, killed and ate meat, and created evil causes, so I turned into a pig to pay back. Turning into a pig to eat leftovers, sour food, and beating with whips and sticks, that’s not enough. I was also be cut into pieces, and all the above-mentioned sufferings, to repay the evil debts owed by the two lives due to greed. Only then do we know that all suffering and happiness are self-inflicted, karma and retribution are exact, no doubt!

Fellow practitioners, when I knew all the sufferings I had suffered during my reincarnation, I cried very sadly. I am a person who is extremely difficult to shed tears. At that time, I thought, I have already cultivated to a very high level in the life when I became a monk. Why should I still be greedy for the blessings of the world and not seek to be born in the Pure Land? When I was about to die, with a single thought, I actually fell into the three evil ways ten times. One thought in the world of mortals, six hundred years of reincarnation! How can it not make people feel sad and regret? Six hundred years! What a precious time, so ignorantly suffering reincarnation, how can it not make people feel guilty and shed tears! Before, I am a person who does not believe in any ghosts and immortal. After learning Buddhism, I become a person who believes in cause and effect and respects life. How can I not be grateful for the compassionate blessings of my master Sakyamuni Buddha, my deity Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, and all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the ten directions and three times? When a disciple of Buddha kneels in front of his own teacher and deity, he understands his destiny, and when he takes another step forward on the road of learning Buddhism, how can he not be vigilant and forge ahead?

At that time, I thought, what should I use to repay the great kindness and virtue of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas? The only thing I can do is to learn the Buddha's name and recite the Buddha's name, so as to seek rebirth in the Pure Land. Thinking of the fact that the human body is hard to come by, the Dharma is hard to hear, and it is hard to regain the human body in this life. If you don’t practice hard, you will be too sorry for the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, and you will be too sorry for your parents and sentient beings! I have heard it now. If you don’t go to the Buddha’s country in this life, how much more will you be born in this body!”
In this life, we must seize the time to recite the Buddha's name, otherwise, when the god of death arrives, we will not know what to do. When a person is about to die, with three heavy breaths, do you have only one righteous thought in your heart - go to the Western Paradise, see the Buddha when the flowers bloom, learn from the Buddha, until you become a Buddha. Did I do it? No! I dream a lot when I sleep. If you cultivate to the point where you can even dream with righteous thoughts, you will be reborn in the Western Paradise of Ultimate Bliss at the end of your life. I swear: From now on, I will always keep the precepts in mind, and use the diamond sword of precepts to cut off the five desires and six dusts, and eliminate the three poisons and ten evils. Always think about impermanence, always think about the Four Noble Truths, cultivate compassion, regard all sentient beings as my parents for countless lifetimes, firmly remember the kindness of the Guru and the Three Jewels, never forget the supreme Bodhi, be brave and diligent, keep the precepts and recite the Buddha, forever Do not turn back until you become a Buddha, save sentient beings in the six realms, and save yourself and others. If you don't save all sentient beings, you swear you won't become a Buddha.
A bhikkhu in one life does not seek to be reborn in the Pure Land, but only obtains blessings in the human world for two lives. After rebirth in the human world, they forget about Bodhi, do not know how to accumulate goodness and virtue, and instead create all kinds of evil causes. As a result, one life is not as good as one life, and they fall into the three evil paths ten times. With extremely bitter retribution, after paying off the debt, I was reborn in the human world, and wasted six hundred years. It can be seen that the grievances of the three generations are difficult to get rid of, and the karma is not bad! . Even though I created karma, I was only reincarnated in the animal realm of the three evil realms. When the evil fate is over, the buddha seeds will germinate when they meet a good fate. Therefore, in this life, I became a monk to learn Buddhism. After a person plants a Buddha seed, the seed will never deteriorate. As long as it encounters the right water, soil and temperature, it will germinate, bloom and bear fruit. A Buddha's name is the great light storehouse, and it is the seed of the Buddha Dharma forever. Buddha's Disciple Shi Jikong wrote in Zhongjiang, Sichuan on October 17, 1995. Amitabha!

If a plant is used to describe history, then the period when the saint appeared is the time when the plant bloomed.  And history always cycles.  If it blooms once a year.  When the flowers wither, you have to wait a year before they can bloom again.  It last bloomed between 2000 BC and 600 AD.  Not sure when the next bloom will be?  But what is certain is that we are not in flowering now, and the next flowering time is far away.  Therefore, we can only understand what it looks like when it blooms from written records.  According to records, in about 5,000 to 10,000 years, religions will gradually disappear.  Just like plants die.  New plants will then sprout from the seeds.

Looking at the people in the world, those who are gentle in spirit live long, those who are kind in nature live long, those who are generous in quantity live long, those who have great appearance live long, and those who speak simple and silent live long.  Probably because gentleness, kindness, generosity, and simplicity are all expressions of benevolence.  -Yuan. When the Buddha was on Mount Mojuluo, there was an attendant bhikkhu named Luotuo.  Luotuo asked the Buddha: "World Honored One, why are all living beings called sentient beings?" The Buddha told Luotuo: "If you are lingering with form, you are called living beings. If you are lingering with feeling, thought, action, and consciousness, you are called living beings. For form, it should be disintegrated and destroyed, and for feelings, thoughts, actions, and consciousness, they should be disintegrated and destroyed. Attachment should be eliminated. When attachment is eliminated, suffering will be exhausted. It is like children in the village playing together, building small houses and small city walls with dirt on the ground. Because of attachment, unsatisfied love, unsatisfied desires, unsatisfied thoughts, and unsatisfied thirst, they guard these small houses made of mud, saying, this is my city, and that is my house.  If you have run out of attachment, desire, thoughts, and thirst for these small houses piled up with mud, you can use your hands and feet to make them dissipate. Like this, you can disperse all attachment. If you can eliminate the attachment, you will end your suffering." -  "Saṃyukta Āgama. Volume VI. 122"
