The fox said: "We foxes have worked hard for a hundred or two hundred years before turning into a human body. You are now a human body, and you have already achieved more than half of your effort. However, you spend your days idly and rotten with the grass and trees. It is a pity."——How rare a human body is, Indulging in all kinds of attachments in the world, refusing to cultivate and learn Buddhism, and allowing the human body to wither and rot like grass and trees, this is something that even a fox feels sorry for.

To judge whether a person is kind or not, it depends on his attitude towards those who are "lower" than him.

We preachers of morality should focus on giving convenience to others. The chef cooks and serves us, and we don't give the chef a piece of copper coin as reward. The officer who invited us to dinner was a military officer. He has a rough temper. If he finds out and beats and scolds the chef, we will have a grudge against the chef instead!" 

A person is a sage if he controls himself, but a fool who only controls others. I knew this truth a long time ago, so I said: "A good person is a good world." The biggest precept of the members of the Daodehui is not to show your temper and not to be selfish. If you can see losing your temper as if the world is collapsing, you will naturally not dare to move easily. It is said in the "Qing Jing Jing": "If a person can always be quiet, the heaven and the earth will all return." If the human mind is not quiet, how can we understand the way?

○ In the previous life, if you owed something in terms of ethics, you will be short in this life. For example, those who did not perform filial piety in the previous life will lack sons in this life. If morality and morals are all lost, this life will be a lonely person.

Every New Year’s Day, your family slaughters pigs and sells them to workers. The normal price is 20 cents. Your family sells them for 25 cents, and you force the workers to buy them. The same is true for you selling dry tobacco and dry powder. Because you are afraid of being poor and being mean to the poor, all the poor ghosts have been reborn in your home! You did it yourself, who do you ask? ’ He listened to me, and he left crying.

○If a noble person insults a lowly person, he will be low in the future; if a rich person is mean to the poor, he will be poor in the future. This is also the principle of the natural cycle, because you have left the way of wealth and honor!

○If you dislike others, people will dislike you. If you dislike fools, fools will also dislike you.

○There is a loop in everything, and nothing is wrong. Needless to say, one should not be guilty of human beings, even animals should not be abused. Although animals cannot speak, if they are abused, God will not allow them. That year, the officers and soldiers in Liujiazi didn't catch the bandits, but caught a good man and beat him to talk nonsense. The man insisted that the bandits had come to my house! They arrested me and beat me, but I didn't blame anyone or get angry. I didn't know until I was guarding the grave that it was because I beat the animals too hard when I was driving the carriage! The sins committed by the body world have to be repaid by the body world.

○ I am wronged in this life, because I was not wronged in the previous life. Injustice in this life, because there was no injustice in the previous life. Anyone who complains about things does not understand the cause and effect of the three rounds of reincarnation.
○You can know the cause and effect of a person by looking at his character. Everything a person experiences in this life is accumulated in previous lives.

○ Whatever character you have in this life, you will know what you did in the previous life. If you are fire in this life, you must have been an official in your previous life; if you are water in this life, you must have been a merchant in your previous life; if you are wood in this life, you must have been a worker in your previous life; if you are gold in this life, you must have been a scholar in your previous life.

○ Those who were fond of hunting or killing creatures in the previous life have fire nature in this life. Those who rebelled against their superiors in the previous life are wooden in this life. In the previous life, he was a liar, but in this life he has a golden nature. Those who were fond of blaming others in the previous life are of earthy nature in this life.

○ There is fire in the nature of a cow, and there is wood in the nature of a dog. Because of these characteristics, it has such a shape and suffers that kind of suffering. If it can be humanized, it can escape the suffering of animals!

○Man is the spirit of all things, so all things hope to be transformed into human beings, and if they continue to cultivate, they can become gods and Buddhas. It's a pity that many people are fascinated, and they have to transform into other creatures, so they go back and forth.

○When a person has delusions or worries, it means that the way to become a human being in reincarnation is broken. If you don't know how to be a human being and don't understand the truth, you won't be able to redeem your heart. If you are not satisfied, you will not be able to redeem your will. If things are not empty and things are not clean, ambition cannot be redeemed. One must do one thing, end one thing; practice one way, end one way, get in and get out, and not be fascinated by the world net, in order to redeem one's birth.

○The heart is the root of cause and effect. If there is a little bit of selfishness and the slightest concern, there will be shadows in the heart, and you will not be able to "get rid of dust". If you can't 'get rid of the dust', you can't escape reincarnation. Therefore, the worldly desire for profit must be dead in order to end the cycle of reincarnation forever.

○Everything comes from cause and effect. When adversity comes, if you can bear it happily and think it should be done, then it will be over naturally! If you can't bear it, and there is resentment in your heart, even though this incident has passed, there will be adversity in the future, just because of the unresolved reason.
